I listened to a great Radiolab podcast today. It was on astronauts having to deal with the dark side of the earth, while orbiting the earth. They said that within 24 hours, the space station orbits the earth an average of 17 times. That is 17 sunsets and 17 sunrises. It has to be blinding to encounter.
